Servings: 8 servings
- 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls (8 pieces)
Chocolate Chip Rolls
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
Caprese Rolls
- 4 slices mozarella cheese
- 1 medium tomato
- 8 large basil leaves
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper, to taste
Cheddar & Swiss Rolls
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat your air fryer to 325ºF.
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean countertop or large cutting board. Separate into 8 triangles along the perforations.
Put an even amount of the desired filling on the wide end of each triangle.
Fold the sides of the dough around the filling, stretching the dough a bit if needed. Continue rolling up the rest of the way. Tuck the tip of the triangle on the bottom to make sure they stay sealed as they cook.
Line the basket of your air fryer with a piece of parchment paper slightly smaller than the bottom. This will allow for more air flow.
Place the rolls on the parchment, leaving enough room for them to spread (it may be necessary to cook in batches, depending on the size of the air fryer basket). Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until cooked through and a golden color. Let cool for 4 to 5 minutes before serving.
Caprese Rolls
Cut each slice of mozzarella in half.
Cut the tomato into thick slices, then cut each slice in half.
On each crescent roll, layer on a half slice of mozzarella, followed by basil leaf.
Top with a half slice of tomato, then season with salt and pepper. Drizzle each with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Roll up and continue with the rest of the recipe.
