Leftover Halloween Candy Bars
These leftover Halloween candy bars will put all of your candy to good use. The bars are the best vehicle for all that leftover candy!
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup chocolate candy bars chopped
Preheat your own to 350F degrees and coat a 8x8 pan with cooking spray.
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar and butter together until combined. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Gradually add in the flour mixture until combined. Fold in the candy bar pieces.
Add the dough to the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the edges are golden brown. Let the bars fully cool on a wired rack before cutting into squares.
