INGREDIENTS

White cake mix Strawberry gelatin Sugar All-purpose flour Water Vegetable oil Eggs Strawberries

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, gelatin, sugar, and flour. Add the water, oil, and eggs.

Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then beat on medium for 2 minutes. Fold in the chopped strawberries.

Divide the batter into the prepared pans and bake until a toothpick inserted into centers comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes.

Beat the butter in a small mixing bowl until it’s creamy. Beat in the crushed strawberries, followed by the confectioners’ sugar.

Spread the frosting onto the top of the bottom cake layer. Place the top cake layer over the bottom, then frost the sides and top.
