All-purpose flour Whole wheat flour Granulated sugar Salt Baking powder and baking soda Sourdough starter Eggs Buttermilk Butter

INGREDIENTS

Whisk together the flours, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda, breaking up any clumps.

Whisk together the sourdough starter, eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and gently stir together until just combined.

Drop the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer’s directions, 3 to 5 minutes per waffle.

Serve immediately with desired toppings!
