Pierogi Casserole

Give that box of frozen pierogis an upgrade with this easy pierogi casserole recipe!

Frozen pierogis Olive oil Onion Garlic Cream of mushroom soup Sour cream Milk Shredded cheddar cheese Bacon Fresh chives Nonstick cooking spray

INGREDIENTS

Preheat your oven to 375ºF. Coat a 9 x 9 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, cook the onion and garlic in olive oil until the onion is translucent, about 7 to 8 minutes.

Remove the skillet from the heat, then stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, cheddar cheese, and bacon.

Spread half of the sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Arrange the pierogis over the top, then spread the remaining sauce mixture over the top and add the chives.

Bake for 30 for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the sauce is bubbling around the edges.

Cool for 4 to 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
