Devil’s food cake boxed cake mix Flour Sugar Sour cream Vanilla extract Hot water Eggs Vegetable oil Miniature marshmallows Butter Whole milk Cocoa powder Powdered sugar Salt Chopped pecans


Whisk all dry ingredients then stir in sour cream, vanilla, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Bake for 30 min.


Sprinkle the marshmallows over the top then bake for another 3 min. Let cool to room temperature.


Melt butter then whisk in milk and cocoa powder. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Beat until the frosting is smooth and thick. 


Spread the chocolate frosting over the top of the cake, then sprinkle with the pecans. Slice the cake and serve warm!
