Jello Pretzel Salad

More of a cheesecake than a salad, this dessert balances a creamy no-bake cheesecake filling on top of a crunchy pretzel crust for flavor and contrast.

INGREDIENTS

Prepare strawberry jello. Pulse pretzels in a food processor until the pretzels are large crumbs.

1

Combine crushed pretzels, sugar and butter and press it into the bottom of the dish.

2

Bake for 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and let cool.

3

Add the cream cheese and remaining sugar and beat together until fluffy. Fold in the Cool Whip, then spread the mix over the cooled pretzel crust.

4

Stir the sliced strawberries into the jello mix and then slowly pour this into the pan on top of the chilled Cool Whip. Place the pan into the fridge to cool for at least 4 hours.

It’s topped with fluffy Cool Whip, strawberry Jello, and fresh strawberries!
