INGREDIENTS

Cook onions for 2-3 minutes, until softened. Then, stir in the garlic and the salt. Cook for another 2 minutes. Set aside.

Wash and trim the green beans. Add broth in instant pot. Place a steamer basket in the inner pot of the Instant Pot, and add the green beans to the steamer basket.

Set the cooking time on high pressure. Once done, release the pressure.

Remove the green beans from the Instant Pot, stir in the onion and garlic mixture, garnish with almonds, and serve.

You can serve them with a holiday meal when you need a green vegetable, or all summer long if your garden is producing an abundance of green beans.
