Combine the carrots, water, butter, and thyme in a large pot set over medium-high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil.


 Then, reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook until the carrots can be easily pierced with a knife.


Add the honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.


Remove the sprigs of thyme, and serve!
