Homemade chocolate waffles might just be the best breakfast ever!

They’re soft and fluffy, crispy on the edges, and perfect for adding all your favorite toppings!

All-purpose flour Cocoa powder Granulated sugar Baking powder Kosher salt Eggs Vegetable oil Whole milk Vanilla extract

Whisk the flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the remaining ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir to combine, until the batter is smooth.

Generously coat the waffle iron with cooking spray and cook the waffles for the recommended amount of time.

Plate the finished waffles and serve them with maple syrup, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, or fresh fruit.

Just like pancakes, waffles only need a few simple ingredients. To make chocolate waffles, you’ll also need to add cocoa powder.

Leftover waffles can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
