- 1 pound Brussels sprouts trim off the end and outer leaves
- 8 slices bacon cut into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- ½ cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
