French Dip Sliders

These French Dip Sliders take tender, juicy meat and savory melty cheese and pile it all onto sweet toasted rolls.

Butter Yellow onion Salt Black pepper Mustard Hawaiian sweet rolls Roast beef Provolone cheese Beef stock Worcestershire sauce. Dried spices Fresh thyme

INGREDIENTS

Sauté onions for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are softened and a golden brown, caramelized color. Set aside.

1

Mix melted butter in the Dijon mustard. Using a pastry brush, coat the bottom of a 13 x 9 baking dish with half of the butter mixture. Place the bottom piece of the rolls into the baking pan.

2

Layer evenly with the roast beef, then the onions, followed by the provolone cheese. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese, then brush with the remaining melted butter mixture.

3

Cover the dish with aluminum foil, then bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is completely melted.

4

Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the tops of the rolls are lightly toasted.

5

Make jus and serve alongside the rolls while still warm.
