Crockpot Pizza Casserole

Crockpot pizza casserole is a weeknight dinner your whole family will devour!

1 pound box of pasta 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 pound lean ground beef 2 teaspoons kosher salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 medium onion 2 cloves garlic 12-ounce package of pepperoni 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup fresh basil Cooking spray

INGREDIENTS

Cook pasta until al dente. Cook beef until browned. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the beef to a paper-towel-lined plate.

1

In the same pan, sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Add the pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, and beef to the pan. Bring the mixture to a simmer, and remove it from the heat.

2

Grease the crockpot with cooking spray. Add the pasta, beef sauce, and ½ cup of cheese. Stir to combine. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Then, arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese.

3

Cover the slow cooker, and cook on low for about 3 hours, or high for 1.5-2 hours. Top with the basil just before serving.

4

Tender pasta combines with ground beef, pepperoni, a zesty tomato sauce, and plenty of cheese for a crowd-pleasing dinner.
