It’s time to start planning your Thanksgiving menu! I just LOVE this holiday! Sharing a meal that everyone contributes to and shares around a table is my definition of family. There’s no pressure and hustle and bustle – just good times shared with family and friends. Of course, the main attraction of the day is the FOOD! Ah Yes! Glorious main dishes of turkey and ham coupled with endless side dishes, desserts and pies. This Sweet Potato Casserole recipe turns out perfect every time and is a must-have on your Thanksgiving menu!
This recipe was my mom’s signature dish that she made every Thanksgiving. Everyone looked forward to it and nobody could make it quite the same! Now that she’s gone, I make it each year. I’m not sure it has the touch she had, but it’s pretty darn good. I did learn from the best!
Sweet Potato Casserole could be mistaken for a dessert since it’s so sweet and decadent, but I serve it right alongside my mashed potatoes and turkey. It just compliments the whole meal!
I’ve shared this recipe on All Things Mamma in the past, but I’m sharing it again! The photos are updated and it’s just worth sharing again. Must spread the sweet potato love!
