Summer is here and that means a lot of outdoor time for my family! Biking, swimming, and playing in the backyard are on our daily schedule! We’ve even had a few sports camps for the kids to attend in the mornings. But being outside means we need to be protected by the sun! It’s always a good idea to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays to prevent burns, wrinkles and even skin cancer. But when you have redheads like these three – it’s especially important!
On our trip to Disney World and the beach this past month, we took extra caution to lather up several times a day. Usually every 2-3 hours and after swimming. Nobody complained either! I think at this point they understand it’s not an option around here!
We’ve been loving Banana Boat® sun care products! Because they are tested in seven conditions – sun, pool water, ocean water,
wind, sweat, sand and extreme heat – we feel they provide safe and effective broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection for the entire family. I don’t like the take the risk of a sunscreen not working on my babies. That would be bad..and painful!
Another thing I love is that Banana Boat® has some great products that offer multi-skin benefits, like water-resistance, ease of application and
comfort. Even my 9 year old can apply her own sunscreen with my supervision to make sure she’s covered! For example, for families at the beach, I love their new SunComfort™ Clear UltraMist® Sunscreen – it provides Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB protection and water resistance, and also allows sand to easily brush off!
There’s so many sunscreens that will run into their eyes and they end up red, swollen and stinging. That sure puts a damper on a fun day! We don’t have that problem with Banana Boat® Baby is a Tear-Free Sting-Free Continuous Lotion Spray Sunscreen SPF 50. I really like that I can take comfort in knowing my kids won’t be miserable and have to leave the fun!
Make sure to check out Banana Boat® for yourself! They have a great family website that has tips and info on all their products! Also check out my post on 3 Tips for Sunscreen Success! We use them, too!
