If you’re like me, you have a never ending to-do list that seems to be growing by the minute daily. And if you’re like me, you have it scribbled down on a million pieces of paper around the house, on the fridge, in your purse and on your desk.
What? You don’t? You’re more organized than me? NO way!
Well, for those of you that aren’t already organized, try an electronic to-do list. There’s a million ways to do this too..but a couple of examples would be creating a list in your Word program and adding to it daily or actually using a program such as Google Calendar to organize your life. With Google Calendar you can:
1. Share your schedule
Let your co-workers, family, and friends see your calendar, and view schedules that others have shared with you.
2. Get your calendar on the go
With two-way syncing to your mobile phone’s built-in calendar or a mobile version of Google Calendar that’s made for the small screen, you can access your calendar while you’re away from your desk.
3. Never forget another event again
Customizable reminders help you stay on schedule. You can choose to be notified by email or get a text message sent right to your mobile phone.
4. Send invitations and track RSVPs
Invite other people to events on your calendar. Guests can RSVP to your events by email or via Google Calendar.
5. Sync with your desktop applications
Access your calendar however and whenever you want by syncing events with Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal and Mozilla Sunbird.
6. Work offline
Know where you’re supposed to be even when you don’t have internet access. With offline access, you can view a read-only version of your calendar no matter where you are.
AND best of all…IT’S FREE AND GREEN! By not using a million pieces of paper and printing off your endless lists from your computer, you’re saving paper, energy and ink!
GREAT! I’m able to stay organized and not loose my mind when I can’t find that scrap piece of paper with the all important date and time on it AND I’m saving some green by being green! It’s a win/win!
I’m looking forward to utilizing this service more and keeping my life and my family in order in 1 place! I’ll fill you in on how it’s going down the road.
What do you use to keep your life in order???

Mama Dweeb
thank you so much for your hilarious comments! I love your blog – it is so well organized and easy to navigate.
This was a great post too. I love Google calendar. But I have to say that I am still so old school that i HAVE to have a paper calendar with me at all times. That way if I am out and about and I get a call from a friend I can pencil her in without going to my computer…..google calendar would be so much easier to use if I had a iPhone….oh that would be nice!
