Give Back By Stocking Up
One of the best—and easiest—ways to give back to the community is by supporting amazing brands that give back. And one of my favorite brands, Johnson & Johnson, is doing exactly that.
Johnson & Johnson is supporting the next generation of female leaders on and off the field by working with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to create the ‘Because She Can’ Innovation Fund. Your support helps give thousands of girls access to soccer programs.
That’s a cause I can put my money behind and one you can feel good about, too!
So by doing what I already normally do this time of year—restocking my first aid kits—I am helping more girls have access to soccer programs and that is an amazing feeling!
Because She Can
Let me tell you a little bit more about the #BecauseSheCan campaign. It’s such a great one!
I am a mother, and two of my children are daughters. It has been so powerful and humbling to watch them grow, develop interests like dance and sports, and be there to guide them as they become comfortable in their own skin and find their places in the world—in a time when women are enjoying more rights and freedoms than ever before.
Johnson & Johnson, the U.S. Soccer Federation, and the U.S. Soccer Foundation are teaming up to provide the next generation of female leaders with the inspiration and support they need to pursue their dreams. Together, we can help her reach those goals. Because she can.
What to Put in a First Aid Kit
When spring cleaning time comes around, I always make sure I restock our home and car first aid kits with new BAND-AID® bandages, NEOSPORIN®®, and Neutrogena® Sun products so that my family and I are prepared to enjoy the warmer weather and relax in the fact that we are prepared for anything!
It is so important to restock your first aid kit. Check to make sure you have one in the car, your sports bag, and in your home. It’s always a great idea to prepare for anything that could happen so you can relax and enjoy the time in the sun with your kids.
Here’s what to keep in your first aid kit:
- BAND-AID®
- Cotton swabs
- NEOSPORIN® for cuts and scrapes
- Neutrogena® Sun products
- LISTERINE®
- Disposable Sterile Gloves
- Gauze
- Zytrec®
- Digital thermometer
- Benadryl®
- Visine® for irritated eyes
- Motrin® for adults in case those headaches come on
Where to Keep Your First Aid Kit
It’s always a good idea to keep the first aid kits within arm’s reach at all times. Here are the most common places to store your first aid kit:
- In the car
- In your diaper bag
- On every level of your home
- In the kitchen
- In the garage
Support Girls’ Access to Soccer
I witness firsthand the confidence and camaraderie that being in a team sport teaches young girls. These soccer programs help children who might not otherwise be able to enjoy playing on a team. By purchasing J&J products like NEOSPORIN®, you are helping the #BecauseSheCan campaign give back to our communities.
I am so appreciative of the fact that Johnson & Johnson is giving back to the community and helping young women, like the two that I am raising.
