I am a salad lover. I love all kinds of greens, vegetables, nuts and proteins. I love that a good salad will fill you up while fueling your body with good for you ingredients. I usually start my salad with a good green base like kale or romain, add a few veggies and top with chicken and a balsamic vinaigrette I make at home. But, from time to time, I like something different and don’t always know what exactly that is. So, recently I was introduced to these Eat Smart Salads that has everything you need right in the package to make have a delicious meal easily!
These chef-inspired salad kits offer sophisticated blends of six or more superfoods and include everything needed for a delicious salad. Perfect for those looking for innovative, convenient and healthy eating options that are easy to integrate into busy lives. Each single-serve salad includes at least 11 grams of protein from plant-based protein sources such as corn, edamame, chia seeds and sunflower seeds. Eat Smart salads are individually wrapped that allows proteins to retain freshness and quality. which make them perfect for on-the-go, just toss and enjoy.
The past month we’ve been busy with soccer and football practices and games. I really don’t like to grab fast food so these salads have been perfect for me! I actually love that each of these salads has unique ingredients that taste good and fill me up. I feel like I’ve had a meal, not just a snack. And it’s so easy to pop into my thermal bag with an ice pack and pull out whenever I’m ready to eat. If I use the bags, I just make sure to have a Tupperware type container with me to mix the salad up in and close when I’m done. If I use the salads that come in a container – I only need to take along a fork. it’s perfect! Being on the go and busy is no excuse to not eat well when you have options like these Eat Smart Plant Powered Protein Salads!
