I’m a little bit of a clean freak. Yes, hard to believe to those who know me. (NOT!) I may not have the most clutter free house in the world (though I try) but I do have a clean house. I’m very particular about my cleaning habits and make sure to not spread germs while washing our hands, preparing food and using dish cloths and towels. So, when Bounty asked me to complete the Bounty DuraTowel “Ditch and Switch” challenge, I was intrigued.
Bounty sent me a dish cloth to use in my normal way for 3 days and then return it to them for lab testing. I was sure I would be in the clear on my towel since I’m very careful about rinsing it and letting it air dry in between uses and NOT use one for too long. I change my dish cloths and towels our frequently. Well, I was wrong, bacteria grows whether I want it to or not. No matter how safe I am, I’m not safe from that yucky gunk that grows in a wet environment. So, when I think I’m wiping the counter with a clean cloth – I’m actually spreading bacteria around.
Most dishcloths come back with a bacteria level of that of a hotel comforter. Ummm…YUK! Can you imagine wiping your counters with one of those? I think not! I don’t even sleep under them! Yeah, I’m THAT person!
So, it looks like I’ll be switching to something a little more safe! Bounty DuraTowel is made like a cloth and it clinically proven to be 3X cleaner than a germy dish cloth .
It’s made with extra fibers so it even feels like a cloth and made to stay together when wet. You can wet it, wipe down your counters, rinse it and wipe again without worry of it ripping. It’s even a good at scrubbing without breaking! I’m already a faithful Bounty user for our kitchen, so adding in the DuraTowel is a no brainer!
Bounty exposed my dirty dishcloth and showed me the cleaner way to clean with Bounty DuraTowel, the only cloth-like, durable paper towel that is clinically proven to leave surfaces three times cleaner than a germy dishcloth.* Find out more here!
