If you’re anything like me, being pregnant will be an entire experience in itself. There are so many things to do and take care of before baby comes that it is easy to let things overwhelm you. Don’t worry. You can make things super simple for yourself if you start planning now.
5 Tips To Organize Early in Pregnancy
Your birth plan is like an action plan for when you go into labor. Think of your plan as more of a guideline. Childbirth can be a crazy time, and the whole thing might seem like a bit of a blur. Organizing a birth plan can help you know just what to do when the time comes. You should know how you’re getting to the hospital, what you are taking and who is going with you. If you have a basic outline in your head, everything else can fall into place as it comes.
Baby showers are a fun excuse to see all your friends and the perfect way to catch up with everyone. One of the best things about baby showers is that you can get things for baby that you really need! #1 on your list – DIAPERS! That’s right, diapers! You’re going to need a lot of diapers in the first year. Send your friends to Sam’s Club for the best deals (or grab them yourself) Check out the amazing deal below that you can get right now on diapers at Sam’s Club!
When your baby comes, it may be a little hectic to start decorating his or her room. It is a good idea to have a room ready for your little one from the start. So start now and spend a weekend creating a perfect nursery for your baby. Doing so will make you feel ready for your baby and will be a good place to organize all the fun stuff you got at your shower!
I am a huge advocate of creating a nursing basket full of things you may need while nursing before baby comes. Having a few things to help you during those long nursing sessions early on will come in handy. Having a basket ready so that you always have everything you need will make a huge difference to your daily routine and make things much easier. I like to have one in the bedroom and living room so things are close by.
Daycare centers and homes tend to book up fast. You need a plan if you’re heading back to work. Read reviews about local centers and see which one appeals to you. Make sure that you find the right center to suit your child. If your child is at the center a few hours each day, you need to see whether a family member can help you out when it comes to childcare. It is worth looking into the logistics of this now so that you don’t have to worry later.
