Summer meals are some of my favorite meals of the year. I love light meals of yogurt and fresh fruit for breakfast, homegrown salads and sparkling water for lunch, and sandwiches for dinner. It’s a great time to lighten up from the hearty meals of winter.

I personally like to use whole fat yogurt to feed my family. I think it’s more filling and good for you! But there are some times I want a special treat with unique flavors and Yoplait has a great selection to chose from!

Ingredients to make a Vanilla Yogurt Parfait

  • Vanilla yogurt
  • Raspberries
  • Blueberries 
  • Granola 

How to make a Granola Yogurt Parfait

  1. Fill a mason jar – Add 1/4 cup yogurt to a mason jar.
  2. Add berries – Top with berries.
  3. Add yogurt – Add more yogurt on top and top with granola.

With so many flavors from original and light yogurts to the new greek varieties – there’s bound to be one for every member of your family!

Change up your parfaits for a snack with a different flavor of yogurt and a homemade granola.

Recipe Tip

Instead of vanilla – try coconut and blueberry topped with almonds and chocolate chips? YUM! There’s really so many combinations you could try. Give your kids a chance to mix up their own parfaits – they’ll love it!

Can I use frozen berries?

I think that fresh berries taste best, but frozen berries can work in a pinch!

Can I change up the flavor of the yogurt?

You bet! You can easily change the yogurt flavor and try something new!

What are some other great toppings for a yogurt parfait?

Shredded coconut and slivered almonds are always a good idea. You can also add mini chocolate chips to the top.
