We have always raised our kids to be frugal and eco-minded, as well. From recycling at home to reducing use in our home, we try to be good examples so that one day it will just be second nature to them. Even through recycling and reducing our footprint is a good start, we also try to teach them about using eco-friendly products that are good for their bodies AND the environment. My book, Essential Oils for a Clean and Healthy Home focuses on using essential oils and other non-toxic items to clean your home safely, it’s been a good way to really get the kids excited about using non-toxic items around the house.
