One of the questions I get asked the most is, “How do you make money as a blogger?” Time and time again, everyone is shocked to hear that I actually make a full-time living by this little blog of mine.

Well, it was a little blog, but has turned into quite a blog since those early days of only my family reading and sharing my posts. I continue to be amazed, shocked and humbled by the success that has come my way by this blog, All Things Mamma!

How to Make Money Blogging - The four ways I replaced my full-time income by blogging and how your can, too! It's easier than you think!

How To Make Money Blogging

Just HOW I make money on my blog isn’t just a short answer, there are many avenues I use to make money. I don’t put all my eggs in one basket, because if I did, what would happen if there weren’t anymore eggs to add? I’d be forced to go back to a 9-5 job.

No thanks! This mamma like the freedom of working by her own rules and schedule so that I can put my family first as much as possible.

Does that mean that blogging is easy – nope. Far from it. It takes work and A LOT of time! But, it’s time that I’m working on MY business to grow and make money for my family. So, I love it!

Some days it is a little overwhelming, but in a good way. Because if I’m a tad overwhelmed, that means I’m juggling lots of different blog balls and it means I’m working. Blessed. I am still working on managing my time better by adding in help instead of doing it all myself. But, for the most part, what you see is all me!

Here’s my 4 main sources of income from blogging that are easier than you’d think:

Blogging Income Sources

Sponsored posts: Brands and agencies contact me (or I apply through their websites) to hire me to talk about their products with reviews, creating recipes or crafts.

Advertising – I work with an ad agency that places all the ads you see on my blog and for each pageview or click, I make a percentage of money. So, click around, friends! haha!

Affiliate income – I place links throughout posts that link up to a place you can buy an item that I love. From that sale, at NO extra cost to you, I earn a percentage of the sale back.

Extra stuff– I sell extra stuff, essential oils, my book, ebooks (to come soon!), and more.

All of this income goes to run by blog – hosting, website services and more and also to me to help support my family, just like you do at your job!

Want to hear a little more about what blogging means to me and how companies I work with make it a great experience? Here’s a GREAT video that I shot at home with my family with the help of an amazing agency I work with VERY often – IZEA.

I can’t say enough good things about this amazing company – the opportunities, the reps, the pay – it’s ALL good! And IZEA is so very easy to work with, it makes my life much easier, too, which translates into more time to do other things. Check it out for just a little glimpse into my blogging life.

Blogging is an awesome thing if want to make a living for yourself. Is it hard work? YES! Is it profitable? It can be. Is it for you? I can’t answer that one, but I can tell you that I am here to support you in that journey if you’d like to start!

I will be creating several posts and emails that will help you start up a blog, sign up for networks to make money, design your blog and much, much more! Check out THIS POST on how to start a blog in under 30 minutes to get started.

Be on the lookout for more posts coming soon. Make sure to sign up for my newsletter RIGHT HERE or in the box to the left of this post to make sure you don’t miss out!

I do make money blogging,  I make a good living blogging and I work hard. BUT with that hard work comes profit in a lot of areas – income, family, experiences and more! And you can, too!
